BLDEA`S New Arts and Commerce College, situated at Tikota, near Vijayapura in Karnataka, was started in 1969 by Sri B. M. Patil to educate the rural masses. It was recognized by UGC in 1977 and is affiliated with Rani Channamma University.

Spread over nearly ten acres of the sprawling campus, the college provides excellent infrastructure to house all modern educational amenities. Besides regular studies, students are always encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities. Undergraduate courses in Arts and Commerce and different subject combinations as per University syllabus are offered.

The college is allowed to have 600 students and currently around 430 students are currently in the college. A hostel with 25 rooms serves as residential facility for girl students.
